About Us

Grizzly Custom Closets was started in the 1990’s in Whitefish, Montana. Purchased by Brett and Leslie Diede in 2018, GCC has continued to be the premier custom closet builder in the Flathead. As a locally and family owned and operated business, GCC is proud to offer high quality materials, a lifetime warranty*, and a 100% custom experience. Our customers will never be tied to prefabricated units. Instead, we purchase the materials needed to design and build to the specifications of the space and our customers’ preferences. While we work mostly in ¾” melamine and wood products, we are up for any challenge in any material. Estimates are always free. We look forward to working with our customers on a dream worthy design.

MEET THE TEAM

Brett Diede

With over 20 years of experience building homes, Brett turned his focus to quality custom closets and storage alternatives in 2018 when he purchased Grizzly Custom Closets. His extensive experience in all aspects of building allows him to take a simple design, build, and installation to a whole other level in ensuring that your custom piece is fit perfectly into your home or business. When Brett isn’t hard at work on the job, he enjoys spending time working on his own house or breaking free with his family and their camper.

Leslie Diede

Leslie started working behind the scenes at Grizzly Custom Closets when she and Brett purchased the business in 2018. Clients can expect emails from her late into the evenings as she spends her days working in healthcare and caring for Brett’s and her young children. Like Brett, Leslie enjoys the escape with the camper and their family in any spare moments they can find.

Mike Cowden

Mike started working at Grizzly Custom Closets in 2020. Mike’s attention to detail and pride in his work made him a perfect addition to the team. When Mike isn’t working in closets, he also runs his own coffee business and is a husband and father to three young children.

CJ Ramage

CJ joined Grizzly Custom Closets in 2021 with extensive experience as a carpenter. CJ is an all around nice guy who spends the majority of the time in the shop getting units ready to install.
